The short version: what you type stays in your browser.

## What you type

Every calculator works in your browser. Cone numbers, temperatures, recipes, kiln details, prices and dates are never sent to a server, and nothing is uploaded. The calendar file from the gift timeline is made in your browser and saved straight to your device.

## What is stored on your device

If you choose light or kiln (dark) with the theme button, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under `ceramicdrift-theme`. The ticks on the food-safe checklist are saved under `ceramicdrift-checklist`, so they are still there next time on this device. Nothing else is stored, and the site does not use cookies. Choosing “Auto” removes the theme choice, “Clear ticks” removes the checklist, and clearing your browser's site data removes both.

## Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the tools. There are no ads and no other trackers.

## Links and hosting

Links to other sites, such as the sources and the two recommended services, take you to sites with their own privacy policies. The pages are served by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, handles the network requests your browser makes to load them. The fonts and scripts come from this site, not from third parties.
